Science is a mountain of sh-t!

La scienza è una montagna di merda!

This is hilarious.  If you don't read Italian it's worth translating...  LOL so true!

What used to be so vaunted, held up as a paragon of truth...  not so much anymore.

Caveat emptor applies to universities more now than ever.  Just ask the mask researchers!  LOL...

It's been a while... Back to Germany

Before the hysteria of the whole COVID thing ramped up I'd made many trips to Europe.  There was a time when FCO was more familiar to me than ORD.  As fate would have it another opportunity to develop business presented itself.  This time a trip to Merkendorf, Bavaria then on to Stockholm.  A short trip, but as usual, I enjoy the people, culture, and cuisine.  I'd not been to Merkendorf before, I must say it's a lovely little village!

This was the second long haul flight in a Dreamliner. I have to admit the comfort is much better than in the old days... the cabin pressure is adjusted to a maximun altitude of 6000 feet even when your at 38000 ft.  I don't know all of the ways this effects a person, but the results are noticeable, you just feel so much better!

Merkendorf, never heard of it before last year. Tucked away in the Bavarian countryside, another wonderful place to experience. This is actually a few kilometers away in

Wolframs-Eschenbach. The church steeple (St Nicholas) you see in the background is the famous Liebfrauenmünster, built in 1310.

I think this is the side view of the Royal Palace...

Your blogger standing by one of the biggest vehicles I"d ever driven.  This was at the Scania demo track in Södertälje, Sweden.  My hosts were kind and wow did they have a great product and company to show me.  I drove an all EV, a gas, a diesel and a hybrid semi.  These trucks are simply amazing.  Climbing into the cab and taking one of these through the test track was so similar, it required no special adaptation to driver interface.  Excellent vehicles.

The cabs are super comfortable and the ergonomics are superb.

A Common site all over the EU, and I noticed the difference from my last visit... so much more solar panels and charging stations. This was in Old Town Stockholm.

Munich's famous Zum Franziskaner... Stockholm style. I wandered around the Slussen and the old town.  The Italian cuisine at Spago was delicious.

Very busy these days, hope you all liked the pics.

That's all for now!

Happy Easter for all my friends in the West.  Christos Anesti!
