2014 Winter Carnival Statues

Brrrr, another cold day - 6F and windy.  At noon I took a quick walk around the MTU campus and took a few pics of the finished works or snow art.  I'll add captions as to what they are by the weekend.

It never fails to amaze me that these students - all of them very busy - take the time to build by hand these statues.  This years building took place in sub zero F weather, often with wind chills in the -20F range and sometimes colder.  A testament to the tenacious students of MTU.
